Nine wineries from Valdeorras take part in the Hong Kong International Wine Fair starting next thursday

The Regulating Board of the Designation of Origin Valdeorras will take part between the 9th and the 11th of November in the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair, “one of the most relevant wine fairs held in the Asian continent”, as the president of this organisation, José Luis García Pando, states himself. “The average Chinese consumer has a rising purchasing power and greatly values European wines. Therefore, it is a huge potential market that should be taken into account when exporting”, he adds.

The president of the Regulating Board will travel to Hong Kong with the technical director of the organisation. Both of them expect “to establish direct contact with potential distributors, restaurateurs, specialised journalists and other key interest groups which could endorse Valdeorras wines in China”. The aim is also to “directly target final consumers, as this event is visited by a large number of people”.
