The wineries of valdeorras changes the shape of certifying their wines under a new standard of quality

Quality ISO 17065 norm standard meets the requirements for those organizations that certify products as in this case the wine. In addition to these requirements for the wineries, the regulatory Board will verify that all items of wine comply with sensory analysis both analytical parameters. What used to be called “rating” of wines, will be called now check the Council, both analytical and sensory. They will therefore have to submit wines also to the Council but will not be to qualify it if not to verify compliance with the rules. Change the terms in this section only, but the same procedure continues.

HOW TO GET PRODUCT CERTIFICATION

The regulatory Board shall verify the quality of the products of each wine cellar through a physico-chemical and sensory analysis and audit to the winery.

When wines from a wine cellar (types of wines that develop, not brands) meet the required qualifications product certification which will have a validity of 5 years shall be granted by the Council. At that time there will be audits of follow-up, along with the usual harvest. This certification is a sign of confidence in the products of the winery that is supported by the delivery of a certificate of certification that each winemaker can make public. Also they will continue using labels must guarantee that grants the Council.
