Cata dos Viños de Galicia 2014. Award-winning DO Valdeorras

Ayer se celebró en Santiago de Compostela, en el Hostal de los Reyes Católicos, la XXVI Cata de los Vinos de Galicia organizada por la Consellería do Medio Rural e do Mar, con la colaboración de los Consejos Reguladores de las Denominaciones de Origen Valdeorras, Ribeiro, Rías Baixas, Monterrei e Ribeira Sacra.

Award-winning 2014 with the President of the Xunta de Galicia, Alberto Núñez Feijóo

In this edition they have participated a total of 184 samples from 124 wineries. This edition tasting panel is composed by 12 specialists, who tasted all the wines in a blind tasting and have taken into account the visual, olfactory and gustatory phases and harmony and global appreciation. This 26th Edition the best white wine Galicia 2014 has been to Quinta Couselo Rosal (Rías Baixas) and the best red from Galicia 2014 Crego e Monaguillo (Monterrei).
