17TH Feira do Viño. Resounding success with more than 3,500 visitors

O Barco received the greater number of people recorded to date in this event

 

The Feira do Viño de Valdeorras obtained a resounding success in this 17TH Edition, with the largest influx of visitors recorded to date in this event: between 3,500 and 4,000 people flocked to the square Andrés de Prada of O Barco where the booths of the 22 participating wineries in the Guarantee of Origin.

 

cristina-pato-momento-inauguracionThe square was crowded during the two days of the Feira and is not for less, as on Saturday the Piper opened the event and pianist Cristina Pato, who played three songs with those who engaged the public, between palms and timid outbursts of dance did not hesitate to ask for ‘another, another’ so that to continue the party. There were the President of the DO, José Luis García Pando, and the Mayor of O Barco, Alfredo García.

The Mayor stressed the importance that has for the region the wine sector, while President of the DO pointed out that it was a unique opportunity to test 80 marks that the winemakers came to this Feira, whose main characteristic is that they can be exchanged with public opinions about the wines and the loving care with which made it. Also recalled García Pando campaign shares a Valdeorras is the axis on which moves the cultural cooperation this year, in which the illustrations by Miguelanxo Prado, Cristina Pato, Ignacio Vilar film music are present and the voice of RNE of the Pepa Fernández program team ‘No es un día cualquiera’.
